Species: Python regius Description: Tan, with dark brown or black blotches. Heavy body, with a smallish head. They generally reach sized of less than 5 feet in length. Climate: 80 - 85F during the days, dropping to 75 - 80F at night. They are native to western Africa. Habitat: They require a terrarium of approximately 3 feet x 1 1/2 foot in size, and about two feet tall. Provide a secure hiding spot, and shallow water dish. Feeding: Rodents. The Ball Python is a notoriously picky eater. Notes: The ball python is one of the few pythons that is suitable for the beginner. Other than some trouble getting them to eat, this snake is quite easy to keep. you can call for more info.
